San Francisco, California – November 26, 2025
His Excellency, Archbishop Ryan P. Jimenez, D.D., President of the Episcopal Conference of the Pacific (CEPAC) and Archbishop of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Agaña, was celebrated as the Honoree at St. Patrick’s Seminary and University during its annual Priest Day commemoration on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Archbishop Jimenez, who is an alumnus of St. Patrick’s, attained his Bachelor in Sacred Theology (S.T.B.), Master’s degree in Divinity, and Master’s degree in Theology in 2003.
Engagement and Lecture
Archbishop Ryan Jimenez delivered a lecture at St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park California on the occasion of Priest Day, Nov. 25, 2025. His lecture was “Immigrant Bishop for an Immigrant Church. Perspectives from Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands.”
On the occasion of Priest Day, Archbishop Ryan delivered a major lecture to the seminarian community and faculty. His address, titled “Immigrant Bishop for an Immigrant Church: Perspectives from Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands,” offered profound insights into the pastoral challenges and opportunities facing the Church in the Pacific, particularly regarding migration and cultural identity.

Supporting Future Priests
During his time at St. Patrick’s, Archbishop Ryan was also able to visit with Guam’s two seminarians currently studying at the institution: Cody Diego and Sean Rodriguez. This personal connection provides invaluable encouragement to the young men discerning the priesthood.
The Archdiocese of Agaña, and by extension the CEPAC region, expresses sincere gratitude to all the faithful who continue to support and contribute to the studies and formation of our seminarians, ensuring the future spiritual leadership of our islands.
